A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
We already have something in common - you love pets too!
My name is Marissa and I'm a St. Pete local , graduate of USF, animal and nature enthusiast, and soon to be your pet's next pal. After 10 years in the non-profit realm, I decided to create Coastal Canines. As a lifelong pet owner, I know how essential your fur baby's happiness and health is to you, so I promise to treat them as one of my own.
Coastal Canines launched in July 2019 as a small business here in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. I have worked with an array of different pets and many got started through word of mouth, and regulars still part of the family since 2020.
Why choose Coastal Canines?
I'm devoted to compassionate pet care! I am certified in cat and dog CPR and First Aid, insured and bonded and a member of Pet Sitters Associates. Unlike those "Uber for dogs" type of services, Coastal Canines is personal and I work with all of my clients (both two and four-legged) with the utmost care and respect.

SERVICES AND FEES
DOG WALKING
Help your pet stay happy and healthy with regular walks.
Regular walks are Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
Evenings/Weekends may have additional charges
Adventures!
Maybe your pup wants to go to the park or you need help with vet or grooming visits - we can help!
Pricing is individual, just like each pet (depending on number of pets, pet sizes/activity level, and time of visits).
Holidays: add $15
PET SITTING
Going on vacation or just out of the house all day? Your pets can stay at home where they're comfortable!
Multiple visits depending on your pets. We recommend cats are at least once a day and kept indoors. Dogs are usually three visits per day with about 6-7 hours in between visits.
We do not offer overnights.
I am happy to discuss the age and health of your pet to see if multiple visits a day is a good fit for your pet.

Pricing will be discussed during or after the Meet & Greet.
Additional pets, evenings, weekends and holidays may have additional charges which will be discussed. Other considerations are if you are outside of our five mile radius.

Marissa's pet walking service is great!! She is extremely reliable, flexible, and communicates well with us. I have used dog walkers in the past and none of them provide the top-notch service that Marissa does. She takes pictures of her visits with our dog, Belle, leaves "Pup Reports," as well as rewards Belle on her behaviors! Most importantly, she treats Belle as if she were her own doggie!! I have absolutely no hesitations leaving our dog in the hands of Marissa, Coastal Canines.

Look no further if you're looking for a pet sitter/visitor or dog walker in the area! Marissa does a great job of caring for all animals regardless of breed and size. She is patient and understanding of each animal's unique needs as well. Marissa has helped visit our dog when we were gone for a long period of time during the day and we knew we could trust her to make sure his needs were met in our absence. She is also very flexible with scheduling and working within your budget! Marissa also does a great job with painting portraits of pets! We recommend her to anyone in need of her services!

She spends a little time playing with her at each visit and leaves a cute little "pupdate" note to let me know how the visit went. I also appreciate that she sends lots of cute photos of my baby! Highly recommend her if you need a pet sitter.
